NobleOak wins Mozo’s Life Insurer of the Year Award

For the 2nd year in a row, NobleOak scooped the top Mozo awards for Life Insurance, winning more awards than any other insurer across both the Exceptional Value and Exceptional Quality categories and take out the Life Insurer of the Year crown NobleOak’s policies, not only ranked among Australia’s best priced, they also deliver on high quality cover.

For the second year in a row, Mozo money experts took to the stage, sifted through the nitty gritty of 25 different providers of Life Insurance to find Australia’s best value and quality Direct Life Insurance for 2020.

“Our research showed there were vast differences between features and policies, as well as incredible price variations of up to 50% between similar policies on the market,” said Mozo Experts Choice Awards judge, Peter Marshall.

“Many people wrongly think with products like insurance that the most expensive option is going to have the best cover, but our analysis proves how wrong this assumption is. The results really highlight why it is so important for people to compare their options thoroughly before signing up for any policy choice.”

NobleOak crowned ‘Life Insurer of the Year’ for the second consecutive year.

“NobleOak outshone its competitors by taking out awards in every category we assessed,” said Marshall.

“And what’s even more impressive is that the same policy took out awards for value for money and exceptional quality. We usually find that products that are tailored more towards higher quality cover don’t make the budget-friendly cut, but NobleOak has proved that it’s possible to have both.”

Mozo Awards in Summary

Aside from regular Life Insurance policies, Mozo Experts also compared the value and quality of other important Life Insurance categories like; TPD insurance (Total and Permanent Disability), Trauma Insurance, and Income Protection Insurance. These personal insurance products all came bundled with general Life Lnsurance, giving Aussies the option to find a policy that is tailored to their needs, together with the certainty of standard Life cover.

Life Insurer of the Year – winner – NobleOak

For the second year in a row, NobleOak outperformed its competitors, winning awards in every single category to take out the Life Insurer of the Year crown. NobleOak’s policies, not only ranked among Australia’s best priced, they also deliver on high quality cover.

Exceptional Value Awards – winner – NobleOak

These awards recognise Life Insurance that’s among the best-priced in Australia, based on a comparison of prices for selected customer scenarios. Mozo judges considered a range of different factors including age, gender and occupations. This category assessed Direct Life Insurance policies eligible for new customers up to the age of 55. According to our analysis, the winners offer the most competitively priced plans across the broadest range of customers.

Exceptional Value Life & TPD Insurance – winner – NobleOak

For this category the judges assessed the combined Life and Third Party Disability options on offer to find those with the most competitive prices for the broadest range of customers.

Exceptional Value Life & Trauma Insurance – winner – NobleOak

For people looking to combine their Life policy with Trauma Insurance, the judges ran a range of scenarios and compared the prices quoted to identify the insurers that are most competitive for a wide range of people.

Exceptional Value Income Protection – winner – NobleOak

To assess Income Protection Insurance, the judges considered the cost of plans with both one- and three-month waiting periods, and one- and two-year benefit periods, for a variety of professions.

Exceptional Quality Life Insurance – winner – NobleOak

This category assessed Direct Life Insurance policies based on the quality of their cover irrespective of price. Policies that did not cover overseas events were excluded. The winners of this category offered the most generous combination of cover across the features assessed.

Exceptional Quality Income Protection – winner – NobleOak

For this category, our judges assessed the quality of Direct Income Protection Insurance policies. Policies that did not offer partial disability cover and excluded mental health conditions or overseas events were disqualified. The winner offered the best combination of cover across the features assessed.
