NobleOak wins Mozo’s Life Insurance Company of the Year award for a third year running

NobleOak has achieved a long-game hat trick, taking out the title of Life Insurance Company of the Year for the third year in a row in the Mozo Experts Choice Awards.

Once again, NobleOak collected a trophy shelf of Mozo awards for direct Life Insurance across the Exceptional Quality and Exceptional Value categories, winning in every single assessable area and collecting more awards than any other insurance company.

To determine winners in the 2021 awards, the Mozo data experts assessed 26 direct Life Insurance providers in terms of pricing and coverage. Taking home gold across value and quality shows NobleOak’s unique ability to offer Life Insurance that ranks among Australia’s best priced products, as well as the highest quality insurance coverage.

NobleOak continues reign as Life Insurance Company of the Year

Mozo’s judges crown the Life Insurance Company of the Year by identifying the most highly awarded provider.

“As in previous years, NobleOak has been yards ahead of the competition. As they did last year, they took home the full contingent of six awards across specific value and quality categories in 2021,” Mozo expert judge Peter Marshall said.

“When we see Life Insurance providers offering products with more features, it’s often at a less budget-friendly price. So it’s quite a feat for NobleOak to provide quality Life Insurance coverage at a price point that’s accessible for different budgets,” he said.

“To maintain this balance for three years running is a commendable achievement.”

What do the Mozo Experts Choice Life Insurance Awards cover?

Alongside standard Life Insurance policies, the Mozo judges also investigated the value and quality of other Life Insurance categories including TPD Insurance (Total and Permanent Disability), Trauma Insurance, and Income Protection Insurance.

These were assessed when bundled with general Life Insurance, so Australians considering taking out coverage could compare policies which may suit them while maintaining the certainty of standard life cover.

According to Mozo’s analysis, the winners in this category offered the most competitively priced plans across the broadest range of customers (with new customers up to the age of 55 being eligible).

NobleOak wins: Exceptional Value Life & TPD Insurance

For this category, Mozo’s expert judges assessed the combined Life and Third Party Disability options on offer. Again, they were out to find policies with the most competitive prices for the broadest range of customers.

NobleOak wins: Exceptional Value Life & Trauma Insurance

Mozo’s judges ran a range of scenarios and compared quoted prices to identify winners in this category. Those that came out on top offered the most competitive policy options for a wide range of people when it comes to combined Life and Trauma Insurance.

NobleOak wins: Exceptional Value Income Protection

The cost of plans serving a variety of professions were considered for this award. The judges analysis considered policies offering 1 and 3 month waiting periods, and one and two year benefit periods.

 NobleOak wins: Exceptional Quality Life Insurance

Price wasn’t considered for this award. Instead, the Mozo judges looked for direct Life Insurance policies with the most generous combination of cover across the features they assessed. This way they could find the highest quality cover irrespective of price.

NobleOak wins: Exceptional Quality Income Protection

To find the most fully featured Income Protection insurance policies, any that didn’t offer partial disability cover and mental health conditions were disqualified. As the sole winner in this category, NobleOak was found to offer the best combination of cover across the assessed features.
